Motor capacitors are not only for noise reduction, but also to protect the motor from arcing and also act as spark suppressors.
They prolong the life of the motor.
This Motor Capacitor have the bleed resistor inside.
With cable lugs.

Installation:
A few different motor capacitors were used but their function is the same. The differences are the color of the capacitor itself and a slightly different color of the wires. Below is an overview of which colors are on the old wires and which they correspond to on the new one.

On the old capacitors there is also a resistor inside the white plastic sleeve, attached between the gray and black wires. When installing the capacitor, you ignore this resistor since it is located inside the new one.
Connect the wires on the new capacitor to where the wires with the corresponding color were connected.
The yellow/green wire is always connected to the motor.

The filter fits perfect to my Bernina record 830 and is of excellent quality. I would even say that it is better than the original. Very hellpful and friendly customer support! The 2.2MOhm resistor is allready included, but the 390Ohm must be reused from the old model ( might vary depending on your model)
